Head coach John Carver has set his Newcastle United side a target of four points in order to retain their Barclays Premier League status for another season.
The Magpies are currently on a seven-game losing streak - having failed to pick up a point since a victory over Aston Villa at the end of February - and currently find themselves five points above the relegation zone with four games remaining.
United's next challenge comes from in-form Leicester City on Saturday - and Carver knows his team have to start picking up points as soon as possible.
"I have said before that we are in a scrap, we're in a fight," said the 50-year-old, ahead of the weekend's trip to the King Power Stadium.
"We know that and the players know that. They (the players) know that if they want to retain their Premier League status then we have to do something about it.
"I think we need four points to be safe, that's what's in my head at the moment. There's one or two tough games for the sides at the bottom but Leicester have just won four in a row.
"Sunderland did it last year and anyone else could go and do that, so you've got to set the bar a little bit higher and I think four points would be ample.
"I don't know how to gauge the pressure anymore because there is always pressure on this football club, whether you win, lose or draw. But of course there will be pressure and we'll go out and have to deal with it."
