Captain Fabricio Coloccini returns to the Newcastle United starting line-up for Sunday's Barclays Premier League home fixture against Tottenham Hotspur (4pm kick-off).
The Argentine international centre-back has completed a three-game suspension following a red card at Everton last month, and slots straight back in as one of two changes to the Magpies' ranks from Monday's defeat at Liverpool.
The other sees French forward Yoan Gouffran recalled, with the pair replacing Gabriel Obertan and Moussa Sissoko - the latter of who begins a two-match ban.
United are expected to line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with goalkeeper Tim Krul behind a back four of Daryl Janmaat, Mike Williamson, Coloccini and Vurnon Anita.
Ryan Taylor moves forward to join Mehdi Abeid and Jack Colback in a midfield trio, while in the final third Gouffran and Remy Cabella will take up roles on the flanks, either side of Spanish starlet Ayoze Perez.
On an attack-minded substitutes' bench there are places for Emmanuel Riviere, Adam Armstrong, Sammy Ameobi and Obertan, along with young trio Olivier Kemen, Jamie Sterry and Freddie Woodman.
