Haris Vuckic scored for Rangers on Tuesday night, but they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.
The Slovenian international, who is on loan at Ibrox until the end of the season, impressively struck the Gers in front on 77 minutes, latching on to a loose ball inside the area, creating space for himself before clipping home a composed finish.
It was Vuckic's second goal since his temporary switch north of the border, and it looked as if that would be enough to secure all three points for Rangers, but 17-year-old Aidan Smith had other ideas, firing into the roof of the net from close range with time ticking away.
Vuckic played the full 90 minutes of the contest but Gael Bigirimana, Remie Streete, Shane Ferguson and Kevin Mbabu were not involved due to injury.
The result leaves Rangers third in the Scottish Championship, two points behind Hibernian with a game in hand.
Elsewhere, in the Vanarama Conference, ten-man Gateshead drew 1-1 at home against lowly Welling United, however Magpies loanee Adam Campbell was not in the starting line-up or named among the substitutes.
