Give The Villa Programme A View

Written by Newcastle Utd

Saturday's matchday programme features an exclusive interview with Massadio Haidara, among others

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Massadio Haidara has started Newcastle United's last five games, and the young, French left-back is the cover star of Saturday's official matchday programme.

Three illustrated images of Haidara adorn the front of the 100-page publication, while inside we chat exclusively to the full-back about his run in the starting line-up and playing the piano.

You can also hear from fit-again midfielder Ryan Taylor, defender Daryl Janmaat, captain Fabricio Coloccini and head coach John Carver.

There are also features with teenage starlet Dan Ward, while we take a look back at the tale of former Magpie Sandy Mutch.

That is a just a snippet of what is inside this week's issue, with an extensive look at Saturday's opponents Aston Villa and four pages of quizzes and puzzles for our younger fans, also included.

The official matchday programme will be available to purchase around St. James' Park and in the club store at the stadium on Saturday, priced at just £3 for 100 pages.

For supporters who are unable to make it to Tyneside for matchday, a digital version of the programme is available to download on all platforms, featuring everything included in the physical publication.

It can be purchased on a one-off basis for £2.99 per edition, or if you chose to subscribe for the whole season then there is a huge 40 per cent saving to be made, with a 12-month subscription costing just £34.99.

For more information on the digital programme, or to secure your discounted subscription now, click here.

We are also seeking your views on the 2014/15 matchday programme.

It underwent some considerable changes during the summer of 2014 and now we want to know your thoughts on the publication.

Planning is already underway for the 2015/16 campaign and we strive to produce a product that you - the fans - look forward to picking up every home matchday and can be proud to call your own.

That is why your feedback is so important.

Has the change in size to A5 worked? Does the programme offer value for money? What would you like to see improved? Where would you like to be able to purchase the programme?

All these questions and more can be answered by clicking on the button below.
