Remy Cabella insists there is still much more to come from him, after producing his best performance since arriving at Newcastle United last July.
The French international forward - a summer signing from Montpellier - came with a glittering reputation but has endured a tough start to life in the Barclays Premier League.
However, he was the standout player at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, as the Magpies gave the league leaders a real scare before slipping to a 2-0 defeat.
Cabella was a contast threat to the Chelsea back line and told nufc.co.uk: "I really enjoyed the game, even though we lost.
"We had a very good first half and that made their first goal very difficult for us to take.
"In the second half Chelsea showed what a great team they are and they deserve to be top of the league but we should be proud of our game.
"I think it was my best performance for Newcastle so far.
"I had one good opportunity but Cech saved from me - he is a very good goalkeeper. Now I have to work harder in training and hopefully I will score next time.
"I was pleased to be in the team. I want to play every week, I want to start games, I want to do great things with this Club and I will give everything for this shirt."
