Newcastle United Football Club and official brewing partner Molson Coors have agreed a contract extension that will see the North American beer giant reach 12 years as a key partner at St. James' Park.
Molson Coors has been a major supplier at the 52,000-capacity stadium for the past seven years, serving premium brands such as Carling, Grolsch, Coors Light, Caffreys and Cobra across concourses, hospitality areas and popular stadium bars including NINE and The Terrace.
The new agreement, which also incorporates advertising entitlements across the stadium and club publications, will see the organisations' flourishing partnership extended for an additional five years and will keep all stadium visitors suitably refreshed on matchdays and throughout the week.
Lee Charnley, managing director at Newcastle United, said: "We are delighted to strengthen Newcastle United's close ties with such a prestigious global organisation as Molson Coors.
"Our relationship has matured into a fantastic, mutually-beneficial partnership over the past seven years and we are very much looking forward to building on that even further as our work together continues."
Eugene Reddington, sales director at Molson Coors North, said: "We are thrilled to have signed a new five-year deal with such a high-profile club as Newcastle United.
"We look forward to continuing our very positive working relationship and to ensuring supporters can toast the Club's future successes with their favourite drinks."
The new deal with Molson Coors follows the news in summer 2014 that the Magpies have agreed a significant partnership extension with global sports lifestyle brand PUMA, which will continue to be official kit supplier to the Club into the next decade.
