New - Monthly Legends Tour

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United have launched a fantastic new monthly Legends Tour, hosted by Bob Moncur

Newcastle United have launched a fantastic new monthly Legends Tour.

Hosted by Magpies legend Bob Moncur, guests can enjoy a stadium tour, before they are taken to meet the former United skipper in the Media Suite for a question and answer session.

Bob will then take guests to both the home and away changing rooms to share his insights into the inner workings of a Premier League dressing room, before taking the tour out through the famous tunnel for photo opportunities and a view of St. James' Park from the dugouts.

Centre-back Moncur was the last skipper to lift a major trophy - the 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Having made his debut as a teenager, he featured in almost 360 games for Newcastle, captaining the side in the 1974 FA Cup final against Liverpool as well as the Fairs Cup triumph, in which he scored in both legs.

Bob, who is still heavily involved on Tyneside as a Club ambassador, also became a key member of the Scotland squad during his time at St. James' Park, collecting 16 caps over a four-year stretch.

The Legends Tour is priced at just £30 for adults, £25 for concessions and £15 for juniors.

The next Legends Tour will take place on Friday, 16th January, at noon, and tickets can be booked now by clicking here or by calling 0844 372 1892.
