Alan Pardew has made three changes to his Newcastle United starting line-up for Saturday's Barclays Premier League trip to West Ham (3pm kick-off).
In the absence of injured goalkeeper Tim Krul, Rob Elliot starts in the league for the first time this season - although the Republic of Ireland international has made two Capital One Cup appearances this term.
Also coming in to the Magpies' side are fit-again midfielder Cheick Tiote, and forward Yoan Gouffran, who was a first-half substitute last weekend against QPR.
Tiote and Gouffran take the places of Ryan Taylor and Remy Cabella, with the latter dropping down to the bench at the Boleyn Ground.
Currently on a seven-game unbeaten run which includes six consecutive victories and four clean sheets in a row, Newcastle are expected to keep faith with the 4-3-3 formation which has served them so well in recent weeks.
Elliot will be protected by a back four of Daryl Janmaat, Mike Williamson, Paul Dummett and Massadio Haidara.
Last Saturday's matchwinner Moussa Sissoko will team up with stand-in skipper Tiote and Jack Colback in the middle of the park, while in the final third, Gouffran and Sammy Ameobi will take up roles on the flanks, either side of three-goal Spaniard Ayoze Perez.
Alongside Cabella on the substitutes' bench, there is a place for Emmanuel Riviere, who is fit again following injury. And the French pair are joined by Papiss Cisse, Adam Armstrong, Vurnon Anita, Steven Taylor and Jak Alnwick.
