nufcTV: QPR Highlights

Written by Newcastle Utd

Extended highlights of Saturday's win over Queens Park Rangers are available to nufcTV subscribers

Moussa Sissoko's late goal made it six straight wins for Newcastle and lifted them up into the top four for a few hours.

And it was a deserved three points for Alan Pardew's side, who had to work hard to break down a Queens Park Rangers side who had seemingly come for a point - and almost got it.

The Magpies started brightly but lost their momentum when Ryan Taylor - who had United's best chance of the first half - limped off just past the half-hour mark.

Ayoze Perez twice came close in the second period but it looked as though Newcastle would be held by Harry Redknapp's men.

That was until, with 12 minutes remaining, a fantastic passing move ended in Sammy Ameobi sliding the ball to Sissoko, who took one touch before drilling into the Gallowgate end net.
