Newcastle's allocation for their Capital One Cup quarter-final at Tottenham next month has sold out

Newcastle United's allocation for their Capital One Cup quarter-final at Tottenham Hotspur next month has sold out.

The Magpies will be roared on by 4,200 supporters at White Hart Lane on Wednesday, 17th December (7.45pm kick-off), with all tickets for the away end - and the maxiumum allotted allocation - having been snapped up.

Alan Pardew's side will be looking to book their place in the last four of the tournament, and in doing so would record a second away win over Spurs this season - having won 2-1 in the capital last month.

On that memorable afternoon, goals from Sammy Ameobi and Ayoze Perez saw United come from behind to secure all three points, and that formed part of a current six-game unbeaten run, which has also seen five successive victories.

The fixture is the latest in a string of forthcoming away games to sell out, with trips to West Ham United, Arsenal and Manchester United also snapped up quickly.

Tickets are still available for Newcastle's Barclays Premier League home fixture against Queens Park Rangers at St. James' Park on Saturday. For more information, or to secure your seat, click here.
