Crewe Cup Clash Confirmed

Newcastle will entertain Crewe Alexandra in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League Cup later this month

Peter Beardsley's Magpies have been drawn against Crewe Alexandra in this season's Barclays Under-21 Premier League Cup.
Newcastle will face the Railwaymen at Whitley Park on Monday, 24th November (kick-off 7pm) at the round of 32 stage.
United were involved in controversy in the competition last term when they lost to Birmingham at St. Andrew's, only to be reinstated into the competition after the Blues admitted to fielding an ineligible player.
Newcastle went on to beat Leicester but were knocked out by eventual finalists Manchester City.
Reading won last season's competition, beating City 4-3 on aggregate.
