Newcastle United's Capital One Cup quarter-final tie away at Tottenham Hotspur will take place on Wednesday, 17th December (7.45pm kick-off).
The last eight tie at White Hart Lane has not been selected for live broadcast, and falls four days before the first Tyne-Wear derby of the season.
United reached the quarter-final stage thanks to victories away at Gillingham, Crystal Palace and Manchester City in previous rounds, and picked up a Premier League victory at Spurs last weekend.
