Ayoze Perez makes his full Newcastle United debut as the Magpies travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays Premier League (1.30pm kick-off).
The 21-year-old summer signing from Tenerife has made nine appearances in all competitions this term - all as a substitute.
But with four-goal leading scorer Papiss Cisse ruled out through a slight knee injury, manager Alan Pardew has handed Perez his first start in the famous black and white striped shirt.
That is Newcastle's only change from last weekend's 1-0 victory over Leicester, in which Gabriel Obertan netted a second-half winner.
United are expected to line-up in a 4-3-3 formation, with goalkeeper Tim Krul - Newcastle's record-breaking hero in their victory at White Hart Lane last term - in between the sticks.
The Dutch stopper will be protected by a back four of Daryl Janmaat, Steven Taylor, captain Fabricio Coloccini and Paul Dummett.
Moussa Sissoko, Vurnon Anita and Jack Colback will patrol the middle of the park, with Obertan and Yoan Gouffran either side Spanish striker Perez.
On the substitutes' bench there is a place for Ryan Taylor, who could be set for a first appearance in more than two years, having battled back from two cruciate ligament injuries.
And the versatile defender is joined on an attack-minded bench by Facundo Ferreyra, Adam Armstrong, Sammy Ameobi, Remy Cabella, Massadio Haidara and Rob Elliot.
