Steven Taylor will start in central defence for Newcastle in their Barclays Premier League fixture against Leicester City today (kick-off 3pm).
The 28-year-old comes in for the injured Mike Williamson for his first league start of the season.
Alan Pardew names an otherwise unchanged XI to the one which started at Swansea two weeks ago.
Tim Krul is named in goal with fellow Dutchman Daryl Janmaat at right-back and Paul Dummett at left-back - all three having recovered from the knocks which prevented them from playing for their countries during the international break.
Captain Fabricio Coloccini will partner Taylor with Cheick Tiote, Jack Colback and Moussa Sissoko in midfield.
Gabriel Obertan and Yoan Gouffran will play either side of Papiss Cisse.
