Next week's Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion will now be played at Newcastle United's Training Centre.

United face the Seagulls on Monday and the game was due to be staged at Whitley Park, the home of the Northumberland FA and West Allotment Celtic.

However, the match will now take place behind closed doors at the Magpies' Benton base.

Kick-off remains at 1pm but members of the public will not be admitted.

Peter Beardsley's side lie third in the table with three wins and a draw from four games, but could go top with a victory against Albion, who are bottom.
