Freddie Woodman kept a clean sheet on his England Under-19 bow, as the Young Lions ran out 3-0 winners over Belarus in a European Championship qualifier on Friday.

The 17-year-old highly-rated goalkeeper was named in between the sticks for Sean O'Driscoll's side and it was a comfortable afternoon for Woodman in Luxembourg.

Aside from tipping a first-half, long-range strike from Yauheni Shauchenka over the bar, the teenage stopper was a virtual bystander.

Goals fom Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Patrick Roberts and Bradley Fewster secured the victory for England.

Also at under-19 level, Olivier Kemen was on target for France in a 6-0 victory against Liechtenstein - the midfielder netting from 25 yards.

In an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, Papiss Cisse's Senegal picked up an important point as they played out a goalless draw against Tunisia in Dakar on Friday night.

Elsewhere, Jamaal Lascelles was an unused substitute for England Under-21s, who came from behind to beat Croatia 2-1 at Wolves' Molineux stadium, while Tim Krul was also given a watching brief in Holland's 3-1 home triumph over Kazakhstan.
