By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

Paul Woolston and Kyle Cameron are the latest Newcastle United Academy players to receive international call-ups.

Goalkeeper Woolston, 16, has been named in England's squad for three UEFA European Under-17 Championships qualifiers in Cyprus while 17-year-old defender Cameron has been selected for the Scotland under-18 squad ahead of two friendlies against Czech Republic.

England's under-17s are the current European Championships holders, with Magpies pair Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong helping them to victory in Malta in May. John Peacock's side will face Cyprus, Macedonia and France between Saturday, 25th October and Thursday, 30th October.

Cameron represented Scotland in Malta as the Tartan Army reached the semi-finals and has now earned his first call-up at under-18 level.

Ricky Sbragia's youngsters play Czech Republic on Tuesday, 21st October and Thursday, 23rd October.
