Paul Dummett has been named in the Wales squad for their forthcoming European Championship qualifying double-header.
The Welsh have two home games later this month against Bosnia-Herzegovina (Friday, 10th October) and Cyprus (Monday, 13th October) - both at the Cardiff City Stadium - and left-back Dummett is part of a 26-man national party.
Dummett, aged 23, has made five appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring United's extra-time winner at Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup.
The Magpies' Academy graduate will be hoping to add to his one Wales cap to date, which came in June against Holland.
Elsewhere, Rob Elliot is one of five goalkeepers named by Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill in a provisional squad for their European Championship qualifiers against Gibraltar (Saturday, 11th October) and world champions Germany (Tuesday, 14th October).
The squad will be narrowed down over the next week, but for the time being Elliot has been joined by Shay Given, David Forde, Darren Randolph and Keiren Westwood.
