Magpies goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has been called up to the England under-18 squad to face Italy next week.
The 17-year-old - who won his first cap at under-18 level against Holland earlier this month - had not been named in Neil Dewsnip's initial squad for the Azzurrini trip.
But he has now replaced West Ham United's Sam Howes in the 16-man party.
Woodman joined League Two Hartlepool on loan this week and will link up with his national team following Saturday's game at Plymouth.
Dewsnip and his team fly to Venice on Sunday ahead of Wednesday's 2pm (BST) kick-off at Stadio Giovanni Chiggiato in Caorle.
The squad is: Harry Lewis (Shrewsbury Town), Freddie Woodman (Newcastle United), Callum Connolly (Everton), Dael Fry (Middlesbrough), Tosin Adarabioyo (Manchester City), Jake Clarke-Salter (Chelsea), Liam Walsh (Everton), Kieran Dowell (Everton), Connor Mahoney (Blackburn Rovers), Callum Cooke (Middlesbrough), Josh Onomah (Tottenham Hotspur), Kyle Walker-Peters (Tottenham Hotspur), Tammy Abraham (Chelsea), Brandon Fox (Leicester City), Dominic Solanke (Chelsea), Demetri Mitchell (Manchester United).
