Ben Pollock is set to come up against his father's former club when Newcastle face Middlesbrough in the Barclays Under-18 Premier League on Saturday (kick-off 11am).

Teenage defender Pollock's dad, Jamie, played 155 league games for the Teessiders during the 1990s. The Magpies will be looking for their first win of the season at this level at Rockliffe Park.

Freddie Woodman has been loaned to Hartlepool United and Ben Smith is injured, meaning Kieran Stoker could start in goal.

Sean Longstaff will be looking to add to the three goals he's scored already this season.

Scotland youth internationals Kyle Cameron and Mackenzie Heaney, England under-17 midfielder Ben Drennan and Northern Ireland youngster Michael Newberry are all included in Dave Watson's squad.

The full squad is: Kyle Cameron, Luke Charman, Jamie Cobain, Ben Drennan, Liam Gibson, Mackenzie Heaney, Jack Hunter, Joe Kerridge, Adam Laidler, Sean Longstaff, Michael Newberry, Ben Pollock, Kieran Stoker, Jordan Storey, Dan Ward.
