Karl Darlow helped Nottingham Forest remain top of the Championship, as they played out a 1-1 home draw against fierce local rivals Derby County.
The stopper, signed from Forest in August and loaned straight back for the season, has been an ever-present in between the sticks for the Reds this term and impressed yet again on Sunday.
Britt Assombalonga's shot on the turn gave Forest a 72nd-minute lead but they were pegged back by Derby soon after.
When Richard Keogh headed against the bar from a free-kick, Darlow did his best to keep out Ryan Shotton's poked effort in the resulting goalmouth scramble, but the ball was adjudged to have just crossed the line, with ex-Magpie Leon Best following in to make sure.
The point kept Forest at the summit of the second tier, with 14 points from their opening six games, but fellow Newcastle loanee Jamaal Lascelles was not selected.
Elsewhere, in the Barclays Premier League, Hatem Ben Arfa made his Hull City debut on Monday night as the Tigers drew 2-2 at home with West Ham United.
The hosts twice took the lead at the KC Stadium through deadline day signings Abel Hernandez and Mohamed Diame, only for the Hammers to level on each occasion - Enner Valencia and a Curtis Davies own goal giving them a share of the spoils.
Ben Arfa was introduced from the substitutes' bench in the 79th minute.
In Ligue 1, Sylvain Marveaux played 77 minutes of Guingamp's 2-1 home win over Bordeaux.
The midfielder created his side's opener, scored in the 26th minute by Moustapha Diallo, before Christophe Mandanne doubled Guingamp's advantage with a penalty eight minutes later.
Finally, in Italy, Mapou Yanag-Mbiwa was an unused substitute in Roma's 1-0 Serie A victory at Empoli.
