Summer signing Remy Cabella is promising improved performances over the coming weeks, insisting Newcastle United fans are yet to see the best of him.
The French international has just returned from national duty, where he won his second and third senior caps for Les Bleus against Spain and Serbia respectively.
Since arriving on Tyneside from Montpellier in July, Cabella has started all three of the Magpies' Barclays Premier League fixtures to date.
But while the playmaker has shown glimpses of his undoubted ability in the black and white striped shirt, he admits to still finding his feet in the English game and is looking to kick on as soon as possible.
"I have given everything I could in the first few games," Cabella told nufc.co.uk ahead of Saturday's trip to Southampton.
"It has been a bit tiring to go out there and play so many minutes but I am loving every minute of it.
"I am trying to get up to the pace of the Premier League as quick as possible, get up to speed and make sure I can contribute to the team.
"There's a lot more still to come from me. I need to properly get into the rhythm of the team and get used to how everyone plays.
"As the games go on the fans will see much more of the real Remy Cabella."
