Rolando Aarons continued his fantastic start to the 2014/15 campaign by netting on his England Under-20 debut on Friday night.
The teenage winger, who made his United debut on the opening day of the season and broke his club duck last weekend against Crystal Palace, was on target for Aidy Boothroyd's Young Lions in a 6-0 rout against Romania in Telford.
Wearing the number 11 shirt, Aarons got the ball rolling nine minutes into the second half with England's opener in front of senior national boss Roy Hodgson.
After a good build-up down the left, the ball reached Aarons inside the area, and the 18-year-old held off his marker, turned and fired in a low shot which went in off the post.
That opened the floodgates and Josh Murphy, Lewis Baker, Kwame Thomas and Callum Robinson - twice - completed the scoring in a comfortable victory.
At under-18 level, Adam Armstrong and Freddie Woodman both started for England in a 3-1 win over Holland at Bury's JD Stadium.
Callum Connolly bagged a brace and Dominic Solanke was also on target, but Armstrong constantly threatened the Dutch goal, seeing a couple of efforts saved and one blocked having rounded the keeper.
At the other end, stopper Woodman was in solid form and could do nothing to prevent a 20-yard thunderbolt getting Holland on the scoresheet just past the hour mark.
Elsewhere, loanee Jamaal Lascelles was an unused substitute for England Under-21s in their 1-0 European Championships qualifying victory in Lithuania.
