Karl Darlow kept yet another clean sheet as Nottingham Forest maintained their strong start to the Championship season with a 1-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Henri Lansbury's first-half header secured the points for Stuart Pearce's men, with Darlow earning himself a fifth shutout of the campaign.
The on-loan custodian was tested either side of half-time by Jacques Maghoma and Chris Maguire, but stood firm to help his side hold on to their slender advantage.
Another United loanee, Jamaal Lascelles, meanwhile, continued his recuperation from injury with a 17-minute run-out at Hillsborough.
The centre-half, who was called up to Gareth Southgate's England Under-21 squad this week, replaced Jack Hobbs late on as Forest stayed at the summit of the second tier.
Meanwhile, in League One, Adam Campbell was an unused substitute in Fleetwood Town's 1-1 home draw with last season's play-off finalists Leyton Orient.
