Paul Dummett has been called up to the Wales squad ahead of next month's Euro 2016 qualifier in Andorra.
The 22-year-old missed out on Chris Coleman's initial 23-man squad, named on Wednesday, but was drafted in on Thursday after West Ham's James Collins withdrew.
Wales kick off their qualifying campaign in the capital city, Andorra La Vella, on Tuesday, 9th September.
And they face two home fixtures in October, both at the Cardiff City Stadium against Bosnia Herzegovina and Cyprus.
Dummett was born in Newcastle but qualifies for Wales through his grandfather and made his international bow as a substitute in June's friendly defeat to Holland.
Speaking after that match, the defender told nufc.co.uk: "Playing for your country makes you very proud.
"All of my family from Wales are really happy and they love it every time I play for them at any level."
Meanwhile, Daryl Janmaat and Tim Krul are in the Holland squad for games against Italy and Czech Republic.
And Rob Elliot is part of a 36-man Ireland squad named for matches against Oman and Georgia.
The full Wales squad to face Andorra is: Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace), Kyle Letheren (Dundee), Owain Fon Williams (Tranmere Rovers), James Chester (Hull City), Paul Dummett (Newcastle United), Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), Chris Gunter (Reading), Adam Matthews (Celtic), Samuel Ricketts (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Neil Taylor (Swansea City), Ashley Williams (Swansea City), Joe Allen (Liverpool), Emyr Huws (Manchester City), Andy King (Leicester City), Joe Ledley (Crystal Palace), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), David Vaughan (Nottingham Forest), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid), Simon Church (Charlton Athletic), Tom Lawrence (Manchester United), Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading), George Williams (Fulham), Jonathan Williams (Crystal Palace).
