UEFA European Under-17 Championships-winning pair Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong have received their first Three Lions call-ups at under-18 level.

The Newcastle pair are among 15 players to make the step up for next month's match against Holland after lifting the trophy in Malta in May.

Neil Dewsnip's side will take on the Dutch at Bury's JD Stadium - formerly Gigg Lane - on Friday, 5th September.

Armstrong scored a hat-trick for the Magpies' under-21 side in Monday's 5-2 win over Reading and netted his first senior goal for the Club against Sydney FC in pre-season.

Goalkeeper Woodman also travelled on the first-team's tour of New Zealand.

The match will be a replay of May's under-17 final, when England triumphed following a penalty shoot-out.

The full England under-18 squad is: Sam Howes (West Ham United), Freddie Woodman (Newcastle United), Jake Clarke-Salter (Chelsea), Callum Connolly (Everton), Mandela Egbo (Crystal Palace), Dael Fry (Middlesbrough), Jonjoe Kenny (Everton), Tafari Moore (Arsenal), Taylor Moore (Lens), Lewis Cook (Leeds United), Callum Cooke (Middlesbrough), Ryan Ledson (Everton), Josh Onomah (Tottenham Hotspur), Jordan Rossiter (Liverpool), Adam Armstrong (Newcastle United), Demetri Mitchell (Manchester United), Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool), Josh Sims (Southampton), Dominic Solanke (Chelsea).
