United Face Cup Trip To Gillingham

Newcastle United have been drawn away at League One side Gillingham in the second round of the Capital One Cup

Newcastle United have been drawn away at League One side Gillingham in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

The draw was made on Wednesday night, and has given the Magpies a midweek trip to the Priestfield Stadium, in Kent, with the tie to be played in the week commencing Monday, 25th August.

Gillingham are managed by former England caretaker boss Peter Taylor and reached the second round thanks to a 2-1 victory away at Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

A date for the fixture and ticket details will be announced on nufc.co.uk in due course.
