Under-21 Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for Peter Beardsley's under-21 side have been announced, with six games at St. James' Park

The 2014/2015 Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture list has been released, with Newcastle opening their campaign away to Bolton Wanderers next month.

United will travel to the County Ground, the headquarters of the Lancashire FA, on Monday, 18th August for a 7pm kick-off before facing Reading seven days later in their first home game, at Whitley Park.

However, many of the Magpies' second-string games will be staged at St. James' Park this term with no less than seven scheduled.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton and Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Stoke City, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers will all come to Gallowgate.

And Peter Beardsley's side can also look forward to trips to Villa Park, the Amex Stadium and the Ricoh Arena.
