A Message From Liam Sweeney's Family

Liam Sweeney's family have asked Newcastle United to pass on the following message of thanks
Newcastle United have been contacted by Barry Sweeney, Liam's father.
On behalf of the Sweeney family, they would like to say the following:
"I would like to thank Newcastle United for all your support and kindness. We have been overwhelmed by the support from everybody concerned with the Club.
"The comments made by the manager, the players and ex-players has been tremendous. We have always known that Newcastle United have always been a family club and Liam was, and still is, part of that family.
"The support from the supporters, friends and family has been astounding. Our thoughts are with John 'The Undertaker' Alder's family as we know what they will be going through.
"Also, I would like to thank all of our friends from Sunderland for their generosity and support."
