Newcastle United midfielder Sylvain Marveaux has joined French Ligue 1 side Guingamp on a season-long loan.
Signed from Rennes in July 2011, Marveaux made his debut for United in a Carling Cup second round tie at Scunthorpe in August 2011 and has since gone on to make 57 appearances for the Magpies, scoring twice.
Last season the 28-year-old started four games for Newcastle, coming off the bench a further seven times.
Guingamp finished 16th in Ligue 1 last term, their first season back in the top level of French football.
