Paul Dummett made his full international debut on Wednesday night as Wales lost 2-0 to Holland in a friendly.

The Newcastle United Academy product, 22, replaced Swansea City full-back Neil Taylor in the 83rd minute at the Amsterdam Arena.

Dummett had previously played for Wales at youth and under-21 level.

He was born in Newcastle but qualifies for Wales through his Welsh grandfather.

Dummett's Magpies team-mate Tim Krul was an unused substitute for Holland, whose goals were scored by Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben and Dynamo Kiev's Jeremain Lens.

Meanwhile, Shane Ferguson started in Northern Ireland's 2-0 defeat to Chile and was replaced by Burnley's Daniel Lafferty after 78 minutes with the score at 0-0.

And Cheick Tiote helped Ivory Coast to beat El Salvador 2-1. The midfielder played for 73 minutes in the holding role.
