Duo Star In French Warm-Up Win

Newcastle United duo Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko starred in France's 4-0 World Cup warm-up win over Norway

Newcastle United duo Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko starred in France's 4-0 World Cup warm-up win over Norway on Tuesday night.

Debuchy was handed a starting role at right-back for Les Bleus in Paris, while Sissoko came off the substitutes' bench at half-time to help his nation ease to victory.

Paul Pogba - who Sissoko replaced - headed France into an early lead, before a second half Olivier Giroud double and one from former Magpie Loic Remy put the result beyond any doubt.

Remy's goal was created by a superb first-time pass from Debuchy, who is in a strong position to start France's Group E fixtures in Brazil next month.
