Written by Newcastle Utd

Paul Dummett has been named in the Wales squad for a friendly against Holland next month

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Paul Dummett could win his first senior cap for Wales as they face Holland in friendly action next month.

The Dragons travel to Amsterdam on Wednesday, 4th June, for the fixture which will be the Netherlands' final warm-up game before the World Cup in Brazil.

Manager Chris Coleman has named a 23-man party and includes left-back Dummett, who has been part of the Wales squad previously but is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.

Dummett broke into the Newcastle United first team last season, turning out 21 times and scoring once - against Liverpool. The Academy product signed a new long-term contract at the Club last November.
