Newcastle United youngster Freddie Woodman performed penalty heroics as England Under-17s were crowned European Champions on Wednesday night.
The Young Lions drew 1-1 with Holland in normal time at the Ta'Qali National Stadium, in Malta, as Dominic Solanke's 25th-minute opener was cancelled out right on the stroke of half-time by Jari Schuurman's deflected effort.
And with neither side netting again after the interval, the final went straight to to a penalty shoot-out.
Goalkeeper Woodman saved the first Dutch spot-kick, while Ryan Ledson, Taylor Moore, Callum Cooke and Jonjoe Kenny all scored for England.
And as two further Holland penalties flew wide, John Peacock's side lifted the trophy.
Fellow Magpie Adam Armstrong was an unused substitute for the Young Lions, having picked up an ankle injury in their semi-final, but more than played his part in the route to glory, with two goals in the group stage of the competition.
