Chris Foy will referee Newcastle United's Barclays Premier League home clash against Swansea City on Saturday (3pm kick-off)
It is the fourth time this season the Lancashire-based official has taken charge of a Magpies match, following August's 1-0 home victory over Fulham, a single-goal triumph away at Tottenham Hotspur in November and a goalless draw at Norwich in January.
On that night at Carrow Road, Foy booked United midfielder Moussa Sissoko and sent off Loic Remy for a clash with Bradley Johnson.
In total this season, he has overseen 29 games across the Premier League, Championship, League One, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, issuing 74 yellow cards, six red cards and awarding nine penalties.
Fifty-one-year-old Foy started officiating in 1983 and worked his way up the ranks before becoming a Premier League referee in 2001 - with his first appointment coming in December of that year as Bolton and Charlton played out a goalless draw.
He was in charge of the 2009 League Cup final and the following year's FA Cup final - his highest honours to date.
On Saturday at St. James' Park, Foy will be assisted by Harry Lennard and Stephen Child, with Anthony Taylor the game's fourth official.
