The draw for this summer's UEFA Under-17 European Championships has taken place, with three young Magpies set to represent their respective countries in Malta.

Goalkeeper Freddie Woodman and forward Adam Armstrong are likely to feature for England at the tournament, where they will face Holland, Turkey and the host nation in Group A.

Centre-back Kyle Cameron, another member of the United youth set-up, will line up for Scotland in a tough-looking Group B against Germany, Portugal and Switzerland.

John Peacock's Young Lions begin their championship push on 9th May against Malta, before facing the Netherlands (12th May) and Turkey (15th May).

Cameron's Scots, meanwhile, open with a game against Portugal on 9th May at Gozo Stadium in Xewkija, before travelling to the Hibernians Ground, in Paola, to play Germany.

Dean Gorre's youngsters close the group stage at the Ta'Qali National Stadium, in Attard, against Switzerland.

Both Woodman and Armstrong featured regularly for England during their qualifying campaign, with the latter opening the scoring in the 2-1 win over Italy in their final group game.

Cameron (pictured below) was part of a Scotland squad who went through qualifying undefeated, booking their ticket to Malta with wins over Bosnia-Herzgovina and Belgium before rounding off with a 1-0 win over Romania last month.
