Kyle Cameron was in Scotland's starting XI as they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina in their opening European Under-17 Championship Elite Round match

Newcastle defender Kyle Cameron played the whole game as Scotland got their UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round off to a winning start on Monday night.

The Tartan Army beat Bosnia-Herzegovina at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park and top Group Six after Romania and Belgium drew 0-0 in Greenock earlier in the day.

Only the eventual winners of the round robin competition will qualify for the finals in Malta in May.

Cameron, whose preferred position is centre-half, played at left-back in front of a crowd of 657 and helped his side keep a clean sheet.

Next up for Scotland is Belgium at Greenock Morton's Cappielow on Wednesday evening.
