Newcastle United pair Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong have been named in the England Under-17 squad for the Elite Round qualifiers later this month.
The teenage duo, who were both key figures in the Magpies' run to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup this season, will travel to the Czech Republic with the Young Lions, where they will face the hosts (26th March), Albania (28th March) and Italy (31st March).
And, depending on their results, England could secure their place in this summer's European Championships in Malta.
Goalkeeper Woodman and prolific striker Armstrong are part of an 18-man party for the Elite Round qualifiers and will be looking to build on their impressive club form when they pull on the national shirt.
