Loan Watch: Millers March On

Rotherham continue to climb the League One table as James Tavernier made a happy return to one of his former clubs

Rotherham United's superb recent form continued on Saturday as they beat Carlisle 2-1 at Brunton Park.

And it was a happy return to one of his former loan clubs for James Tavernier, who played the whole game. Haris Vuckic was an unused substitute.

Dundee United have also been on a roll of late, with Friday's 3-1 home win over Motherwell a third win in four games since Magpies defender Curtis Good arrived at Tannadice.

The Aussie completed another 90 minutes in the Scottish Premier League while Conor Newton did the same for St. Mirren in their 2-1 loss at Ross County on Saturday. Adam Campbell watched from the bench.

On Sunday, Mehdi Abeid was a 58th minute substitute as Panathinaikos drew 1-1 at home to Ergotelis.

Shane Ferguson played no part in Birmingham's 2-1 win at Blackpool while injuries sidelined Jonas Gutierrez and Romain Amalfitano as Norwich beat Tottenham on Sunday and Dijon lost to Tours on Friday.
