90+4mins: It's all over here at Selhurst Park and Newcastle have recorded their biggest victory of an increasingly impressive season. Most of the damage was done to Palace in the first half, when Yohan Cabaye scored and Danny Gabbidon put through his own net, and Hatem Ben Arfa's late penalty sealed it. Click here for the match report.

90+2mins: Puncheon floats in a right-wing free-kick and Joel Ward gets his head to it but the ball sails wide.

90mins: Damien Delaney gets forward and shoots from 25 yards but it's straight at Krul. There will be four minutes added on.

86mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (0-3): Ben Arfa grabs the ball and smashes his penalty past Speroni, who dived the right way but could get nowhere near.

86mins: Newcastle have a penalty - Ameobi is clipped by Parr and referee Swarbrick has no alternative but to point to the spot.

85mins: Ben Arfa, who looks desperate to impress, glides from just inside the Palace half towards the box before drilling the ball across goal.

84mins: Chamakh is booked for a late sliding tackle on Coloccini as the defender clears the ball upfield.

81mins: Now, after good work from Gouffran, Ben Arfa takes a touch and sees his effort saved. The resulting corner is half cleared as far as Santon, whose shot is deflected behind.

80mins: Straight away, Ben Arfa dribbles past two defenders and is clipped inside the box but manages to stay on his feet for long enough to lay the ball off to Gouffran, who shoots just wide from 18 yards out.

79mins: Cabaye, who has pulled so many strings for United as well as scoring the opening goal, makes way for Hatem Ben Arfa.

77mins: Pulis responds with his final change - Dwight Gayle replacing Jerome. He'll provide a different type of threat with his pace and willingness to get behind defenders.

75mins: Shola Ameobi is introduced for Remy, who has held the ball up well and worked hard even if he rarely had a sight of goal.

70mins: Cabaye cuts inside from the left and curls just wide of the far post, with Speroni flying across his goal and Loic Remy waiting for any rebound.

68mins: Jason Puncheon takes the free-kick, which is headed back across goal by Jedinak and falls perfectly for Jerome but the frontman blazes over and squanders a great opportunity for the home side.

67mins: Now Coloccini goes into Swarbrick's book as he leaves his boot too high as he tries to win the ball from Chamakh.

64mins: The first booking of the day goes to Cheick Tiote for a foul near the halfway line and that means a one-match ban for the Ivorian, who now has five yellow cards for the campaign. It certainly wasn't the type of Christmas card he or Alan Pardew wanted.

63mins: Bolaise tees up Adrian Mariappa to swing over a good cross and Chamakh gets his head to it but can only nod wide from ten yards.

61mins: Williamson is bleeding near his eye so referee Neil Swarbrick forces him to get patched up as the game continues. Cheick Tiote fills in at centre-back until Iron Mike is allowed to re-enter the fray.

56mins: A powerful free-kick from Cabaye appears to move in the air to almost fly past Speroni, who has to adjust quickly to throw out his left arm and keep the ball out - just.

46mins: Two changes at the break, both for Palace - Moxey, who was given a torrid first 45 minutes by the likes of Sissoko, Cabaye and Debuchy, is replaced by Jonathan Parr while Yannick Bolasie is on in place of Bannan.

FIRST HALF UPDATES

45+1mins: It's been an outstanding away performance in this first half from Newcastle United, who lead through Yohan Cabaye and a Danny Gabbidon own goal. Palace have won three of their previous five games but will need to improve dramatically if they're to get anything today against a dominant Magpies side, although the home supporters still cheer their team loudly as they head down the tunnel. They still believe and Tony Pulis will certainly lay down the law at the break but it's a case of so far, so good for Alan Pardew's men. Click here for a half-time report.

45mins: There will be one minute of stoppage time.

42mins: Everything is coming down the right for Newcastle and after Anita floats the ball out to Cabaye, he jinks past Dean Moxey and into the box. He must have thought about cutting it back but instead goes for a shot, which almost catches the goalkeeper out but Speroni is down quickly to save at his near post.  

39mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (0-2): Newcastle's second will go down as an own goal but it's really all down to right-back Debuchy. Sissoko rolls the ball to him and the Frenchman wraps his foot around it to deliver a perfect cross which is begging for a touch. Alas it's Palace defender Danny Gabbidon who gets it and can only hook the ball into the far corner with goalkeeper Speroni helpless.

32mins: Another corner, floated in from the right by set-piece specialist Bannan, finds its way to Palace skipper Mile Jedinak but his looping header is gathered by Krul.

30mins: Cameron Jerome tries to force his way into the box and after Fabricio Coloccini and Santon both fail to put in a firm tackle, the former Stoke man gets in a shot which Krul does well to block with his feet. The Dutch keeper then blots his copybook somewhat as he flaps at the resulting corner, which cannons off Mike Williamson but Anita is there to clear off the line.

25mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (0-1): He's back in the side after suspension and Cabaye has a second goal in his last two matches. Indeed, it's a similar goal to his winner at Old Trafford; patient build-up on the right allows Moussa Sissoko to ghost past Marouane Chamakh and pull the ball back towards the penalty spot, where the Frenchman is on hand to find the net via a deflection.

19mins: From the resulting corner, taken by Yohan Cabaye, Debuchy rises highest to glance a header agonisingly wide of the far post. He's not the tallest but the Frenchman is deceptively good in the air and very nearly opened the scoring there.

18mins: Vurnon Anita clips a lovely ball along the line which Mathieu Debuchy races onto and his cutback is put behind by a Palace defender.

15mins: Now Palace get the first shot on target, as Scotland international midfielder Barry Bannan curls a free-kick towards the top corner but Tim Krul is well positioned to pluck the ball from the air.

14mins: The first shot on goal is taken by Davide Santon, who hits a dipping strike from 25 yards out, but it does wide of Julien Speroni's goal. Palace's long-serving keeper is making his 300th Eagles appearance today and despite the rain, his light grey jersey is pristine so far.

11mins: It's been a really low-key start, with no genuine action at either end, but Alan Pardew will be happy enough to quieten down this passionate home crowd early on.

1min: Newcastle are again wearing their yellow and blue change kit, which has yielded two wins out of two against Tottenham and Manchester United so far. It's cold and wet, but the supporters have been treated to an energetic performance from the Crystal Girls cheerleaders and the sight of an eagle flying around the stadium ahead of kick-off, which is taken by the Magpies.
