Magpies Draw Cardiff

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup has been made and Newcastle will host Cardiff City

Newcastle United have been drawn at home to Cardiff City in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Magpies were ball number 29 in Sunday's draw, made by former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham and his son Charlie, who plays for AFC Wimbledon.

And they were handed a home tie against the Bluebirds, who they have already beaten once in the Barclays Premier League this term.

Ties will be played over the weekend of January 4th and 5th 2014.
