A portrait of Gary Speed is being raffled on Saturday afternoon, with all proceeds going to the Gary Speed Foundation.
The former Newcastle United midfielder, who died two years ago aged just 42, made 284 appearances during nearly six years on Tyneside, scoring 40 goals.
In honour of Speed's legacy, artist Davey Brown has painted a 40" x 30" image in acrylics onto chunky canvas and will be raffling it off on Saturday at 4.30pm in Number 9 Bar, on Stowell Street.
Raffle tickets cost £1 each and can be purchased via Paypal through the address [email protected]. Please add 75p to cover postage costs and make all payments a gift, otherwise Paypal take a percentage.
