Loan Watch: Another 90 Minutes For Gosling

Written by Newcastle Utd

Dan Gosling played another match for Blackpool at the weekend as the midfielder continues to enjoy regular first-team action

Midfielder Dan Gosling played another 90 minutes for Blackpool as they drew 1-1 with Birmingham City on Saturday.

But fellow Newcastle loanee Shane Ferguson, who pulled out of the Northern Ireland squad last week through illness, did not feature at St. Andrew's.

Conor Newton went in search of a third goal in three games against Hiberian in the Scottish Premier League, but in the end nobody scored as Terry Butcher's first game in charge of the visitors ended in a 0-0 draw.

Michael Richardson was an unused substitute as Accrington Stanley beat Torquay 2-1 while on Sunday, Mehdi Abeid watched from the bench as Panathinaikos beat AS Giannina 3-1.

And on Friday, Romain Amalfitano appeared as a 65th minute substitute as Dijon beat Nancy 1-0.
