Fabricio Coloccini will be assessed on Tyneside after withdrawing from the Argentina squad through injury

Newcastle United are aware that defender Fabricio Coloccini has withdrawn from the Argentina squad due to injury.
The centre-back was due to face Uruguay on Tuesday night but will now travel back to Tyneside instead.
Coloccini will be assessed by the Club's medical team on his return, after which a further update will be provided on nufc.co.uk.
