The Capital One Cup

Newcastle United have been drawn at home to Leeds United in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The draw was made live on Sky Sports on Wednesday night following the Magpies' 2-0 second round victory at Morecambe and United were drawn out of the hat first by former defender Olivier Bernard.

Newcastle have met the Yorkshiremen twice before in the competition, losing 1-0 in a single leg second round tie in the 1966/67 season at Elland Road, and losing again in 1982/83, this time 4-2 over two legs, also in the second round.
