Having figured in all three of Newcastle United's first-team friendly fixtures so far this summer, Adam Campbell is included in the Magpies under-21 squad to face Kilmarnock on Saturday.

The England under-19 international is one of two players with senior experience to make the trip to Rugby Park for a 3pm kick-off, Romain Amalfitano the other.

Summer signing Olivier Kemen is also named in Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's party, having made his debut at Workington in midweek, while goalkeeper Jak Alnwick and defender Remie Streete have also played for the first-team this summer.

Rolando Aarons and Jonathyn Quinn were both on target in the 3-1 win over Workington although Michael Richardson, who scored the other, has not travelled.

On Friday evening, Killie played out a 2-2 draw with Carlisle, with Paul Heffernan scoring both goals. The Ayrshire outfit finished 9th in the Scottish Premier League last season and admission is £8 for adults and £4 concessions.

The squad is: Rolando Aarons, Lewis Aird, Jak Alnwick, Romain Amalfitano, Macauley Booth, Adam Campbell, Macaulay Gillesphey, Curtis Good, Olivier Kemen, Steven Logan, Kevin Mbabu, Ryan McKinnon, Jonathan Mitchell, Jonathyn Quinn, Lubo Satka, Jamie Sterry, Remie Streete.
