Last Chance To Play On The Pitch

Just one kick-off slot remains for supporters to play on the hallowed St. James' Park turf this summer in our Play on the Pitch scheme.

Earlier in the year, we announced that our doors will be opening between Monday, 20th May and Saturday 1st June, to enable you, your friends, colleagues or clients to strut your stuff on the Premier League playing surface.

Unsurprisingly, there was a fantastic response, with nearly all the slots selling out in less than a fortnight as fans prepare to try and emulate the likes of Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and Tim Krul.

But one remains - 10am on the very first day of this year's Play on the Pitch, Monday 20th May.

Those taking part will experiencing the stadium, pitch and dressing room at St. James' Park. Each 11-a-side game will run for 60 minutes and match officials will be provided.

Teams can arrange their opposition or we can arrange a team for you if you do not have one - you can also bring along a cameraman or photographer to ensure you capture all of the day's key moments. Family and friends are able to attend and cheer you on from the Milburn Stan.

The cost will include a team with up to 18 players and all officials and a post-match buffet for all players in the 1892 Bar. Demand for this rare experience is expected to be high so all bookings will be done on a first-come-first-served basis.
