Newcastle United travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon to take on West Bromwich Albion in Barclays Premier League action (3pm kick-off).

The Baggies have kept just one clean sheet in their last ten home games while, since the start of last season, they have lost half of their 12 home games against teams in the middle third of the table, conceding first seven times.

Newcastle have lost their last four away matches but were the better team at Swansea and Wigan and will be looking for a big response after last weekend's Tyne-Wear derby defeat.

They have also scored first in nine of their 17 trips to middle-third teams since the start of last season.

United have beaten West Brom four times in seven meetings since the 2008/09 season, including two of the last three away, and look good value for the away win at 3.40.

Looking at the goals market, there have been over 2.5 goals in seven out of nine Albion home matches against teams in the middle third, and in six out of eight Newcastle away games against teams in the top half.

Over 2.5 match goals can be backed at 1.75.

In terms of finding the back of the net, the Magpies' 13-goal front man Papiss Cisse is 7.00 to score first, with teammate Shola Ameobi at 9.00.
