Members were able their hands on tickets for the eagerly-anticipated Tyne-Wear derby match against Sunderland from 10am on Wednesday - and demand has aleady been huge.

Tickets for the big match on Sunday, April 14th (kick-off 12 noon) went on sale to Club Members, who receive priority on all home games, and thousands of supporters have been queuing at the Box Office, calling the phone lines and logging on to secure seats.

As a result of the heavy traffic online, the Club have now decided to activate the Quick Seats facility which means that, although supporters using the service can't chose their seat, they will find it much easier to get their tickets without the system crashing.

Fans can still call the Box Office or buy in person at the stadium but they are asked to be patient due to the massive demand.

Tickets are restricted to one per Member. A Newcastle United membership runs for 12 months and can be purchased online by clicking here. In addition to receiving a Membership pack and priority access to all tickets, Members can benefit from a range of benefits including 50 per cent off food and drink in the concourse for the first 30 minutes after the gates open on a matchday.

Memberships are active immediately meaning all new Members can purchase tickets to this fixture without any delay.

A full price list is below and Members can save money on tickets for all home matches as well as paying no booking fees on home match tickets as opposed to £1 per ticket paid by non-Members.
