Newcastle's Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture against Stoke next week has a new venue and kick-off time

This is no April Fool's joke - Newcastle's Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture against Stoke City on Monday, 1st April has a new time and venue.

United were due to travel to Nantwich Town's Weaver Stadium for a 7pm kick-off next week.

However, the EvoStik Premier League outfit now have a rearranged home game against Witton Albion on the same day.

Therefore, Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's side will play at Stoke's Clayton Wood training ground with a 2pm kick-off.

The Club are awaiting confirmation as to whether the game will be played behind closed doors.

Newcastle's second-string have already played against Stoke three times this season, winning 5-1 home and away in the first half of the campaign and 3-0 at the Benton Training Centre in February.
